GALLATIN – State Police from the Livingston barracks have arrested a Bronx man on felony drug charges after he was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway in Gallatin for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Michael Owens, 36, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance including one count with intent to sell.
He was stopped on the parkway just before 5 p.m. on January 25.
An investigation found him to be in possession of approximately 100 grams of cocaine and 5.5 grams of ecstasy.
Owen was arraigned and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
