City of Kingston
• Prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage:Harvinger Singh, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, and was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a misdemeanor. Singh was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
• Drugs:Bobby R. Blue, 42, of Phoenicia, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (360 milligrams of methadone). Blue was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
•Drugs:Austin T. Rodrigues, 22, of West Rutland, Vt., and Joseph M. Siliski, 31, of Rutland, Vt., were arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:08 p.m. and 10:35 p.m., respectively, on Thursday, Jan. 21. Rodrigues was charged with the misdemeanors of manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Siliski was charged with the misdemeanors of manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Both men were released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Red Hook
• DWI/fleeing an officer:Ryan P. Nichols, 29, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by Red Hook police at about 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, and was charged with aggravated drunken driving, fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving, all misdemeanors, and with numerous traffic infractions. Nichols was arrested after he allegedly tried to elude police in the village before fleeing south on U.S. Route 9 toward Rhinebeck at speeds in excess of 90 mph. Police said Nichols fled to his residence, where he was arrested without incident. Nichols submitted to a breath test which showed a 0.23 percent blood-alcohol content, nearly three times the legal limit. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Village Court.
Town of Ulster
• Prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage:Clarence C. Van Leuvan, 39, of Mount Tremper, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:41 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, and was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a misdemeanor. Van Leuvan was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI:Ethan A. Mercurio, 22, of Santa Monica, Calif., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol and drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Mercurio was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
City of Kingston
• DWI:Marvin Ordonez-Lino, 38, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Ordonez-Lino was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• DWI:Christopher E. O’Connell, 52, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:52 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. O’Connell was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• DWI:Willie L. Cooper, 49, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:41 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, in the village of Catskill and was charged with drunken driving, aggravated unlicensed driving, and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, all misdemeanors. Cooper was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.
Hyde Park
• DWI:Danielle R. Miliano, 23, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 11:08 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Miliano was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.
Lloyd
• Stolen property:Three male teenagers from Newburgh, two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old, were arrested by state police at Highland at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22. The teens were not identified by state police because of their ages. One 16-year-old was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a credit card, one felony count of possession of a forged instrument and with possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor. The other 16-year-old was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a credit card and one misdemeanor count of possession of stolen property, and the 15-year-old was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a credit card and one misdemeanor count of possession of stolen property. All three were released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Marbletown
• Contempt:Daniel F. Styles, 57, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:17 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with criminal mischief and contempt (disobeying court order), both misdemeanors. Styles was released with a ticket for Marbletown Town Court.
Rhinebeck
• Endangering:George Orende, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with endangering an incompetent person, a misdemeanor. Orende was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Saugerties
• Drugs:Nicholas A. Cramer, 34, of Church Street, Plattekill, was arrested by Saugerties police at 1:32 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Suboxone), a misdemeanor, after a caller to 911 reported an impaired commercial vehicle driver making a delivery to a local business. Cramer, who was stopped on Kings Highway, was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI:Edgar R. Caal Ico, 37, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:08 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Ico was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
• Stalking:Kevin J. Davis, 36, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:51 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with stalking, a misdemeanor, stemming from an incident reported on Sept. 5, 2020. Davis was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Drugs:Thomas L. Steele, 34, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Steele was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
• DWI:Victor Rosa, 47, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Rosa was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
Catskill
• Drugs: Rae-Kwon D. Hall, 24, of Purling, was arrested at 11:41 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, by state police at Catskill on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance to appear in Catskill Town Court.
Hunter
• DWI: Simone B. Draft, 27, of Manorville, was arrested at 11:57 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, by state police at Catskill on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. She was held pending arraignment.
Lloyd
• Stolen property: Calvin Holland, 40, of Highland, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, by state police at Highland on felony charges of possession of stolen property and possession of a forged instrument. He was held pending arraignment.
Red Hook
• DWI: Efrain Perez-Diaz, 27, of Valatie, was arrested Friday, Jan. 22, on two misdemeanor counts of drunken driving, as well as consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and "numerous other infractions," Red Hook police said. Police said Perez-Diaz was arrested following a two-car crash that happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. on West Kerley Corners Road near the intersection of Guski Road. Perez-Diaz was driving a 2010 Ford westbound when he failed to keep right, crossed the double yellow line and struck a 2004 Chevrolet truck being driven by a 16-year-old male from Clinton Corners, police said. Police said the crash caused extensive damage to both vehicles but the 16-year-old, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured and refused medical attention. Perez-Diaz suffered a minor cut on his arm and refused medical treatment as well, police said. He was released on tickets to appear in Red Hook Town Court.
Windham
• DWI: Lawrence E. Lamanec, 53, of Cairo, was arrested at 3:36 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, by state police at Catskill on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Windham Town Court.
