City of Kingston
•Drugs: David M. Erickson, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, in the city of Kingston and was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. Further information was unavailable.
Gardiner
•Drugs: Pasquale J. DeGiorgio, 27, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the town of Gardiner and was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released with a ticket to appear in Gardiner Town Court.
Livingston
•Stolen property, weapons: Tony Winston, 39, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the town of Livingston on a warrant for criminal possession of stolen property (firearms) and criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm), both felonies, stemming from an incident March 6, 2020. Further information was not available.
Marbletown
•Unlicensed driving: Eric D. VanLeuven, 36, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:11 p.m. Jan. 5, in the town of Marbletown, and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and use of another vehicle without an interlock device, both misdemeanors. He was released with a ticket to appear in Marbletown Town Court.
Port Ewen
•DWI, endangering:Jody L. Lent Jr., 26, of Ulster Park, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff's deputies at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 in Port Ewen and was charged with drunken driving, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment and reckless driving, all misdemeanors, along with a traffic infraction. Deputies said Lent, during a domestic dispute, tried to run the victim's vehicle off the road while the victim's 17-month-old child was in the back seat. Deputies said no one was injured. Lent was released with tickets to appear in town of Esopus Court. State police and Port Ewen firefighters assisted at the scene.
Town of Ulster
•Endangering: Darrel J. Stroman, 40, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, and was charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, a felony. He was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
•Drugs: Vinai Pacheco, 24, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the town of Wawarsing and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana (more than two ounces), a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
