Saugerties
• Strangulation/endangering: Benjamin A. Santiago, 25, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, following a domestic dispute and was charged with the felony of strangulation and the misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Santiago choked a person in front of a child. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
Marbletown
• DWI: Nigel T. Parry, 59, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9:42 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Parry was released with tickets to appear in Marbletown Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Roger J. Durant, 60, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving. Durant was released with a ticket to appear in Ulster Town Court.
Catskill
• Drugs: Christopher L. Fahrenkopf, 24, of Schoharie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:48 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and charged with the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. Fahrenkopf was released with tickets to appear in Catskill Town Court.
