Shots Fired – Downtown Hudson

Sunday evening 10/11/20 at about 10:59pm HPD received numerous calls regarding a shot fired in the vicinity of the 200 block of Columbia Street near North 2nd Street.A few hours later, at 2:33am Monday morning, we received many reports of 4 to 5 shots fired in the area of lower Columbia Street between Long & Rope Alley.
This morning HPD uniform offices and Detectives canvassed the area, interviewing neighbors, reviewing various security videos, and searching for evidence. Shell casings have been recovered.
“We are making positive progress in this case. Many neighbors called the station immediately to report the incidents. Residents and businesses have been cooperating by sharing video surveillance.
