•Drugs:Kayla S. Holderman, 29, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, both misdemeanors. She was issued tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.
Greenport
•DWI:Devon S. Bronson, 25, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 9:36 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 on and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with an appearance ticket for Greenville Town Court.
Town of Kingston
• Contempt:Boris D. Salazar, 28, of the town of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and was charged with criminal contempt (violation of a court order of protection), a felony. He was ordered held pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
Cairo
•Drugs: Jonah E. Lewin, 29, of New York City, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, and was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogens) and misdemeanor possession of marijuana (more than two ouces). He was issued appearance tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Esopus
•Drugs, DWAI-drugs: Caitlin A. Whittaker, 29, no address given, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs and driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, all misdemeanors, following a traffic stop. She was issued tickets to appear in Esopus Town Court.
•Contempt, criminal mischief: Barry R. Kelly, 51, was arrested bu Ulster County sheriff's deputies on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and was charged with criminal contempt and criminal mischief, both felonies. Police said that at 4:30 p.m. on July 31, Kelly caused damage to a vehicle in the driveway of an individual who had an order of protection against him. Kelly was issued appearance tickets for Esopus Town Court.
Greenville
•DWI, drugs:Jennifer S. Bart, 34, of Haines Falls, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (stimulants), drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent (prior conviction), all felonies, and with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. She was issued an appearance ticket for Greenville Town Court.
Town of Rochester
•Identity theft: Stephen R. Wells, 46, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 19, and was charged with possession of a forged instrument and identity theft, both felonies, and with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. He was held pending a court appearance.
Saugerties
• Drugs:Jason L. Arocho, 38, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the town of Saugerties and was charged with possession of more than two ounces of marijuana, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
