• Failure to Register: Rosendale Police Department announced the arrest of Gilberto Gonzalaz, 35, on Tuesday, Aug. 18. A Level 2 sex offender, Gonzalaz fled the area in May 2018 and had failed to register pursuant to New York State Corrections Law since then. Through an investigation by the Rosendale Police Department, with assistance from the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, Gonzalaz was discovered living in the Bronx. He was arrested by the U.S. Marshalls New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force and transported back for arraignment in Ulster County Court.
