Mid-Hudson Valley Arrest from July 29th!

According to the Daily Freeman, here are the arrest from July 29th!

Kingston

· Fugitive from justice:Jamal Green, 30, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 10 p.m. Friday, July 24, and charged with misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed driving and the violation of improper plates, as well as for an outstanding warrant from New Jersey. He was released with tickets for the misdemeanor charge and the violation and sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail as a fugitive from justice pending extradition proceedings to New Jersey.

Coxsackie

· DWI:Manuel Calvo, 42, of Greenville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, on state Route 385 in the village and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Calvo was released with tickets for Coxsackie Village Court.

· Drugs:Jennifer L. Demarest, 31, and Mark J. Wallace, 35, both of Selkirk, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:29 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, on U.S. Route 9W in the town. Demarest was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and the misdemeanors of possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales). Wallace was charged with the misdemeanors of possession of drug-related paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (two counts), possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal use of drug paraphernalia (packaging). Both Demarest and Wallace were released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.

Esopus

· DWAI-drugs:Jason J. Love, 40, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, on U.S. Route 9W and charged with the misdemeanors of driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of a controlled substance. Love was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.

· Drugs:Malik A. Worrell, 19, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, on Broadway and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Worrell was released with a ticket for Esopus Town Court.

Saugerties

· Aggravated harassment:Jesse Decker, 36, of Ripley Street, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 in connection with an investigation initiated on July 25. He was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated harassment for allegedly threatening to kill another person. Decker is accused of calling the complainant several times and sending numerous text messages making threats to kill the complainant. Decker was released with a ticket and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the complainant.

Marlborough

· Drugs:An 18-year-old female from Poughkeepsie was arrested by state police at Highland at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, on U.S. Route 9W and charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. She was released with tickets for Marlborough Town Court. State police do not release the names of suspects under the age of 19.
