Mid-Hudson Valley Arrest from July 14th!

According to the Daily Freeman, here are the arrest from July 14th!

City of Kingston

• DWAI-drugs:Jason J. Lowe, 40, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:50 a.m. Monday, July 13, on Broadway, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Lowe was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.

Greenville

DWI:Nicholas Schneider, 25, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:40 p.m. Sunday, July 12, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop on state Route 32. He was issued tickets for Greenville Town Court.

Hyde Park

• Prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage:Miguel Diaz, 33, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 6:25 p.m. Monday, July 13, at 4152 Albany Post Road, and was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a misdemeanor. Diaz was released with a ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.

Livingston

• Drugs:Matheo Rave-Torres, 23, of Maspeth, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 4:52 p.m. Monday, July 13, on state Route 82 and was charged with felony drug possession (hallucinogen). Rave-Torres was released with a ticket for Livingston Town Court.

Lloyd

• DWI:Amare K. Knight, 32, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, on the Mid-Hudson Bridge and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Knight was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Saugerties

• Drugs:Melissa Neglia, 27, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:36 p.m. Monday, July 13, on state Route 32 in the town and was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony, and with three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Neglia was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.

Rape:Eyzaiya T. Ortiz, 23, of Saugerties was arrested by investigators from the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center on Monday, June 29, and was charged with rape, a felony, for his alleged sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 17, and with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Ortiz's arrest followed an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center and detectives from the Saugerties Police Department. Ortiz was arraigned virtually in Saugerties Town Court and released with pretrial supervision.

Shawangunk

• Rape:Donald P. Youmans, 19, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:10 a.m. Monday, July 13, and was charged with rape, a felony. Police said Youmans is accused of having sexual intercourse with someone who was either incapable of consenting and/or less than 17 years old. Youmans was released with a ticket for Shawangunk Town Court.

Wawarsing

• DWAI-drugs:Melvin J. Torres-Nieves, 28, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:04 p.m. Monday, July 13, on Ulster Heights Road and was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and driving while ability impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
