Cairo
• Contempt/drugs:Mark A. Romine, 28, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with contempt of a court order and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Romine was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
• DWI:John E. Guadagno, 34, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 23 at 11:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving (previous conviction within 10 years), both felonies. Guadagno was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill
• Drugs:Teirra Pickering, 30, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on Hearts Content Road in the town at 9:32 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Pickering was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Lloyd
Marijuana:Davis L. Ramond, 37, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:15 a.m. Friday, June 19, on U.S. Route 44 and was charged with possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Ramond was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
New Baltimore
• Drugs/tampering:Cruz Rivera, 32, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 5:11 p.m. Thursday, June 18, on U.S. Route 9W in New Baltimore and was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony, and with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Rivera was released with tickets for New Baltimore Town Court.
Saugerties
• Contempt:Stephan M. Green, 35, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, and was charged with felony contempt. Green was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Wawarsing
•Assault, resisting:A 16-year-old Napanoch boy, who was not identified by police because of his age, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, on ShopRite Boulevard and was charged with felony assault and with misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. He was released to a third party pending an appearance in Wawarsing Town Court.
City of Kingston
• DWI:Steven J. Hammerl, 28, of Woodstock, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:07 p.m. Friday, June 19, on First Avenue and was charged with drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and aggravated unlicensed driving, both felonies, and with the misdemeanor of circumventing a court-ordered ignition interlock device. Hammerl was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Gardiner
• DWI:Petra Y. Santiago, 30, of Woodbridge, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:56 p.m. Friday, June 19, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with drunken driving and with driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was released with tickets for Gardiner Town Court.

• DWI:Andrew D. Blake, 31, of Walden, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Blake was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWAI-drugs:Daniel I. Sprance, 27, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:05 a.m. Friday, June 19, on Main Street in the town of New Paltz and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Sprance was released with a ticket for New Paltz Town Court.
Town of Rochester
• Drugs/tampering with evidence:Robert A. Coppersmith, 42, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:55 p.m. Friday, June 19, on Lower Granite Road and was charged with tampering with evidence by concealing or destroying it and with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), both felonies. Coppersmith was released with tickets for Rochester Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI:Emily Marie Samuels, 28, of Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:07 a.m. Saturday, June 20, on state Route 28 and was charged with drunken driving and with driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Samuels was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
Catskill
•DWI: Walter T. Bailey, 44, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, June 20, on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Catskill, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Drugs: Jerry Thrower, 60, of Albany, and Corinna M. Hawver, 23, of Athens, were arrested by state police at Catskill 1:55 a.m. Sunday, June 21, on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Catskill. Thrower was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a hypodermic instrument and one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Hawver was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a hypodermic instrument, one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, one count of manufacture of drug related paraphernalia, and one count of false personation, all misdemeanors. Thrower and Hawver were both released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

•DWI: Dustin T. Amalfitano, 32, of Stormville, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:03 a.m. Sunday, June 21, on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 in the town of Lloyd and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent (previous conviction within 10 years), both felonies. He was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Plattekill
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation: Daniel J. Dearmas, 25, of Yonkers, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, June 20, on Plattekill-Ardonia Road in the town of Plattekill and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle due to multiple license suspensions, a felony. He was released with a ticket for Plattekill Town Court.
