According to the Daily Freeman, Columbia Greene Community College sets 2020 in person graduation to November!
HUDSON, N.Y. – Columbia-Greene Community College has announced it will tentatively hold in-person commencement ceremonies for 2020 graduates on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m.
President Carlee Drummer said in a press release that the decision was made after prospective graduates were surveyed to gauge their preferences for a ceremony.
“The overwhelming response was that our graduates preferred an in-person ceremony, even if postponed,” said Drummer, noting that all plans will remain tentative as the directives related to thecoronavirus pandemic crisis continue to evolve.
The release said that any student who expects to fulfill graduation requirements by the close of the Spring 2020 semester is asked to file the Application for Graduation with the Office of Records and Registration as soon as possible, by e-mailing the completed form toregistration@sunycgcc.edu.
