The Catskill Community Center has served the families of the Town of Catskill for many years, building
on the legacy of the Catskill Boys and Girls Club, the Boys Club, and the YMCA going back to the early
1900s.
As our facility ages and as the needs of the community we serve change, the Board of Directors has
decided to evaluate the current and future role of the Center.
In an effort to serve the Town of Catskill community effectively, the Catskill Community Center is
exploring several options for its future operations.
During this process, we will be gathering facts and information on a wide variety of subjects including
existing and planned community programming, potential sources for continued funding of operations
and best uses of the Community Center facility.
With that in mind, the Board of Directors will be analyzing the condition and value of the Community
Center building with the possibility of listing it for sale on the real estate market. Once the Board of
Directors collects all of this data, a decision will be made as to what the future operations of the Catskill
Community Center will be.
