• Burglary: Stephen J. Brind, 75, of Rhinebeck was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, April 26, by state police at Rhinebeck on a felony charge of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of menacing. Police said troopers were called at approximately 5:20 p.m. Sunday for a report of a domestic dispute. The investigation found Brind had entered a home unlawfully and threatened to kill a person there, police said. Police said the dispute became physical before Brind fled the scene as the person called troopers. Brind was arraigned in Milan Town Court and released on his own recognizance to appear in Rhinebeck Village Court.
• Stolen property: Johnathan Sklan, 62, of 972 E. 14th St., Brooklyn, was arrested Sunday, April 26, on a misdemeanor charge of possession of stolen property, as well as the infractions and violations of driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninspected vehicle, unsafe lane change, depositing refuse on a highway, and making an improper U-turn at a hillcrest. Saugerties police said officers stopped a 1991 BMW at 2:18 a.m. on Hommelville Road after seeing the driver make an illegal U-turn and throw trash out of the car. At the time of the stop, the car had a Delaware registration, but a file check showed the license plates on the vehicle had been reported stolen off another vehicle in New York City in February 2019, police said. Sklan was released on tickets to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
• DWAI: Austin T. Hollister, 21, of Purling was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Monday, April 27, on U.S. Route 9W by state police at Ulster on a misdemeanor charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was released on a ticket to appear in Saugerties Town Court.
