Mid-Hudson Valley arrests report: April 22, 2020

According to Daily Freeman, here are the arrest in the local area on April 22nd!

Rhinebeck

• Identity theft: Vicky Sawyer, 43, of Poughkeepsie was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the state police barracks on U.S. Route 9 and was charged with identity theft, a felony, and with theft of services, a misdemeanor. She was released with tickets to appear in Rhinebeck Town Court. 

Saugerties

• Menacing: Adan A. Aguilar-Martinez, 27, of 108 Livingston St., Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police on Tuesday, April 21, and was charged with two counts of menacing, a misdemeanor, and with harassment, a violation. Police said officers responded to a report of a fight in progress at 108 Livingston St. When they arrived, officers interviewed Aguilar-Martinez and two other people, police said. Police said Aguilar-Martinez reportedly started an argument with the other two people over rent money. During the argument, Aguilar-Martinez, who police said was inebriated, reportedly pushed one of the other people and then showed a hammer and threatened to harm the other people, police said. Aguilar-Martinez was virtually arraigned and released pending an appearance in Saugerties Village Court. An order of protection was issued to the other two people, police said. 

• DWAI: Martin Lopez, 21, of Mount Marion, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, on Robinson Street and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. He was released with a ticket to appear in Saugerties Village Court.
