CLERMONT, N.Y. — A resident of this Columbia County town has been charged with nearly three dozen misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals, state police said Wednesday.
Police said Andrea Nussinow, 57, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at 84 Nevis Road in Clermont and charged with 35 counts of torturing, injuring and not feeding animals under the state's Agriculture and Markets Law.
The number of allegedly neglected animals was not immediately available.
