Three individuals were arrested for drug possession at 12:07am on January 30, 2020, after a traffic stop on State Route 22 in the town of Copake. Walter Haumaier, 34, of Hyde Park NY, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor) for possessing a quantity of heroin.Sarah Houis, 28, of Millerton NY, and Shaun Watson, 33, of Wassaic NY, were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (Both Class A Misdemeanors) for possessing heroin and syringes.All three subjects were issued tickets returnable to Copake Town Court on February 24.
