HUDSON POLICE CHIEF EDWARD MOORE SAYS

NOTHING WAS FOUND. HUDSON AND GREENPORT

FIRE DEPARTMENTS WERE ON STAND-BY.

FIVE FIRE COMPANIES WERE ON THE

SCENE OF A CHIMNEY FIRE YESTERDAY

AFTERNOON IN NEW LEBANON. THE FIRE

SPREAD TO THE STRUCTURE AT 1542 ROUTE

20. CREWS WERE ON THE SCENE FOR

OVER TWO HOURS.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE KEPT BUSY

OVER THE WEEKEND IN COLUMBIA AND

GREENE COUNTIES.

A MAN WAS KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS AFTER

HIS BICYCLE COLLIDED WITH A CAR IN

CATSKILL. THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED

AROUND 2 SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT MAIN

AND CHURCH STREETS.

CATSKILL FIRE AND AMBULANCE TREATED

MAN WITH HEAD INJURIES, AFTER HIS

CAR ROLLED OVER IN THE WOODS ON

ROUTE 9W. THE CRASH WAS SOUTH OF

LEHIGH ROAD.

ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO BERKSHIRE

MEDICAL CENTER, AFTER TWO VEHICLES,

BOTH PULLING TRAILERS, COLLIDED

SUNDAY IN NEW LEBANON. IT HAPPENED

JUST AFTER 5 ON ROUTE 20.

A WAYNE COUNTY WOMAN IS ACCUSED OF

TRYING TO BEING DRUGS INTO COXSACKIE

CORRECTIONAL FACILITY OVER THE

WEEKEND. 39 YEAR OLD RACHEL WADE OF

SAVANNAH WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE

WITH BRINGING CONTRABAND INTO PRISON

AND CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED

SUBSTANCE.

IT WAS A BRUSH FIRE THAT BROUGHT

CATSKILL FIREMEN TO THE RAILROAD TRACKS

OFF MAPLE AVENUE SATURDAY. SMOKE FROM

THE FIRE MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO ROUTE 23.

A TRANSFORMER EXPLOSION WAS RESPONSIBLE

FOR A POWER OUTAGE SATURDAY IN DURHAM.
