FOUR PEOPLE WERE TREATED FOR CARBON

MONOXIDE POISONING, FROM A HOME IN

COPAKE SUNDAY MORNING. COPAKE FIRE AND

RESCUE WERE CALLED TO THE HOME ON

WASHINGTON ROAD JUST AFTER 7:30.

FIREFIGHTERS REPORTED VERY HIGH LEVELS

OF C.O. IN THE BUILDING. A WOMAN WAS

AIRLIFTED TO WESTCHESTER MEDICAL

CENTER, TWO OTHERS WERE TAKEN BY

AMBULANCE, AND A FOURTH PATIENT WAS

BROUGHT TO COLUMBIA MEMORIAL. THE

TOWN BUILDING INSPECTOR WAS CALLED

TO THE SCENE.

A SERIOUS ACCIDENT EARLY THIS MORNING

ON THE THRUWAY HAS LEFT A FOUR YEAR

OLD BOY INJURED. CATSKILL FIRE AND

AMBULANCE RESPONDED TO THE NORTHBOUND

LANES JUST AFTER 3AM, WHEN A VEHICLE

ROLLED OVER. REPORTS SAID THE BOY WAS

EJECTED, AND WAS AIRLIFTED TO ALBANY

MED.

ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO ALBANY MED

SUNDAY, AFTER A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

IN GERMANTOWN. THE CRASH WAS JUST

AFTER 2, IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY

ON PALATINE PARK ROAD.

POLICE WERE LOOKING FOR THE DRIVER

OF A CAR, THAT STRUCK A MAN IN

WINDHAM SUNDAY, AND FLED THE SCENE.

IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 3:30 ON

MILL STREET. THE 72 YEAR OLD MAN WAS

CONSCIOUS AND BREATHING AFTER THE

ACCIDENT.

OTHER ACCIDENTS OVER THE WEEKEND

THAT BROUGHT AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE,

WERE ON ROUTE 23 IN DURHAM WHERE A

MOTORCYCLE CRASHED, AND ROUTE 32 IN

CAIRO WHERE FOUR PEOPLE WERE INJURED

SATURDAY.

AN EAST DURHAM MAN WAS CHARGED WITH

DWI SATURDAY MORNING, AFTER HIS PICKUP

COLLIDED WITH A TRACTOR TRAILER IN

SAUGERTIES. 23 YEAR OLD ROBERT PROVOST

WAS CHARGED WITH DWI. THE CRASH WAS

ON ROUTE 32.

A CATSKILL MAN FACES CHARGES FROM A

DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN KINDERHOOK. THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS

41 YEAR OLD JAEL DOWNES CHOKED AND

PUNCHED A WOMAN AT HER RESIDENCE, AND

DAMAGED HER CELL PHONE. HE HAS A

SCHEDULED COURT APPEARANCE NEXT WEEK.
