A NIVERVILLE DRUG DEALER HAS PLEAD

GUILTY IN FEDERAL COURT, IN CONNECTION

WITH TWO OVERDOSE DEATHS. 32 YEAR OLD

JACOB EBEL IS EXPECTED TO BE SENTENCED

TO 18 YEARS IN PRISON IN JANUARY.

A 19 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND A 29 YEAR

OLD MAN BOTH DIED OF DRUG OVERDOSES

IN 2016. BOTH HAD BEEN SOLD HEROIN

AND FENTANYL BY EBEL.

STATE POLICE WERE CALLED TO AN ALTERCATION

AT A HOME ON MCCAFFERTY ROAD IN DURHAM.

THEY ENDED UP CHARGING TWO MEN WITH

ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. 20 YEAR

OLD AUSTIN ODENTHAL OF GREENVILLE AND

23 YEAR OLD COREY BASHWINGER OF

MIDDLEBURGH HAVE SCHEDULED COURT

APPEARANCES.

A TWO CAR ACCIDENT BROUGHT HUDSON FIRE

AND GREENPORT RESCUE TO THE INTERSECTION

OF PROSPECT AVENUE AND COLUMBIA STREET

YESTERDAY. THREE PEOPLE WERE CHECKED

OUT BY MEDICS. ONE SAID SHE WOULD GO

TO COLUMBIA MEMORIAL ON HER OWN.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE ON THE

SCENE OF TWO ACCIDENTS EARLY THIS

MORNING IN GREENE COUNTY. TWO PEOPLE

WERE INJURED IN A CRASH ON ROUTE 81

IN DURHAM. AND A MAN WAS INJURED IN

NEW BALTIMORE, WHEN HIS PICKUP HIT

A POLE ON HILLCREST ROAD AND ROLLED

OVER.

A VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED BY FIRE

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, IN THE TOWN OF

STOCKPORT. IT WAS REPORTED JUST BEFORE

6 ON PATS LANE. THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT

QUICKLY.
