AN ATHENS MAN WAS SENT TO THE GREENE

COUNTY JAIL ON TWO COUNTS OF SEXUAL

CONDUCT AGAINST A MINOR. THE GREENE

COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ARRESTED 48

YEAR OLD MATTHEW MCLOUGHLIN FOLLOWING

AN INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGED CHILD

ABUSE. HE WAS ARRAIGNED IN COXSACKIE

COURT AND HELD ON 3000 DOLLARS BAIL.

THE BRONX MAN WHO ADMITTED TO

SUPPLYING A COLUMBIA COUNTY DRUG

DEALER WITH HEROIN WAS SENTENCED

TUESDAY IN FEDERAL COURT. 37 YEAR OLD

SAUL PACHECO WILL SERVE FIVE YEARS

IN PRISON. HE WAS ARRESTED LAST

APRIL IN A YONKERS PARKING LOT.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

HAS MADE TWO ARRESTS IN THE CASE OF AN

ASSAULT, THAT LEFT A GHENT MAN WITH

SERIOUS INJURIES. 37 YEAR OLD DAVID

MOORE AND 20 YEAR OLD DEVEN HOTALING

WERE CHARGED WITH SECOND DEGREE

ASSAULT. THE INCIDENT HAPPENED IN

AUGUST.

A FRAUD INVESTIGATION THAT BEGAN LAST

MONTH IN THE VILLAGE OF CATSKILL, HAS

A HUDSON MAN FACING FELONY CHARGES.

43 YEAR OLD AKM ALAM WAS CHARGED BY

STATE POLICE WITH GRAND LARCENY AND

FILING A FALSE INSTRUMENT. HE WAS

RELEASED PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.

CREWS WORKED WELL INTO THE NIGHT MONDAY,

TO REPAIR THE WATER MAIN BREAK THAT

LEFT CHATHAM AND GHENT WITH LITTLE OR

NO WATER. YESTERDAY MORNING THE

VILLAGE ANNOUNCED, THAT WATER WAS

RESTORED, HOWEVER A BOIL WATER ORDER

REMAINS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE

STATE OF EMERGENCY WAS ALSO LIFTED

TUESDAY.

ON THE 18TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SEPTEMBER

11TH ATTACKS, CEREMONIES ARE PLANNED

IN GREENE AND COLUMBIA COUNTIES. THE FIRST

WILL BE AT 11 THIS MORNING, AT THE GREENE

COUNTY 9 1 1 BUILDING ON VOLUNTEER DRIVE

IN CAIRO. THE IRISH CULTURAL CENTER IN EAST

DURHAM WILL HOLD ONE AT 4. AND TONIGHT

AT 6, THE CEREMONY AT VOLUNTEER PARK ON

STATE FARM ROAD IN NIVERVILLE TAKES

PLACE.
