A PHILMONT MAN IS FACING FELONY

WEAPON'S CHARGES, FOLLOWING THE MONDAY

FIRE AT HIS MAIN STREET APARTMENT. STATE

POLICE SAY, FIREFIGHTERS LOCATED A KELTEC

SUB 2000 ASSAULT WEAPON, AFTER THE FIRE

WAS PUT OUT. 30 YEAR OLD SAMUEL WRIGHT

WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION

OF A WEAPON. HE'LL ANSWER THE CHARGES

IN COURT.

CHATHAM FIRE AND RESCUE WERE CALLED

TO ROUTE 203 THURSDAY AFTERNOON,

AFTER A CAR STRUCK A TREE. THE ACCIDENT

HAPPENED AROUND 1:45 NEAR SHUFELT

ROAD. THE DRIVER WAS OUT OF THE

VEHICLE WHEN CREWS ARRIVED.

NIVERVILLE FIREFIGHTERS RESPONDED

TO HAWLEY ROAD YESTERDAY, WHEN A TRUCK

PULLED DOWN A UTILITY POLE AND WIRES.

THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES.

NATIONAL GRID WAS CALLED TO MAKE

REPAIRS. POWER WAS OUT TO THE AREA.

IT WAS A VEHICLE FIRE THAT BROUGHT

KISKATOM FIREMEN TO 900 ROUTE 23A

THURSDAY MORNING. THE FIRE WAS PUT

OUT QUICKLY. THERE WAS CONCERN, AS THE

VEHICLE WAS NEAR A BUILDING.

A DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN THE TOWN OF

GREENVILLE HAS A CAIRO WOMAN FACING

CHARGES. 38 YEAR OLD BONNY SPENCE

WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL CONTEMPT,

FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING AN ORDER

OF PROTECTION.

ANOTHER DOMESTIC INCIDENT, IN

STOCKPORT, HAS A TOWN MAN FACING

CHARGES. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY

SHERIFF'S OFFICE CHARGED ANDREW

BROCKMAN WITH HARASSMENT. HE'LL

ANSWER THE CHARGES IN TOWN COURT.

THE ANNUAL HOMETOWN HEROES

SPAGHETTI DINNER TAKES PLACE TONIGHT

AT THE CHATHAM FIREHOUSE. THE FREE

FIREHOUSE BEGINNING AT 6.
