A CATSKILL MAN IS IN THE GREENE

COUNTY JAIL ON BURGLARY CHARGES.

CATSKILL POLICE SAY, THEY BEGAN THEIR

INVESTIGATION AUGUST 22ND. 29 YEAR

OLD JOSEPH RIDLEY WAS ARRESTED ON THE

FELONY CHARGES. BAIL WAS SET AT

15,000 DOLLARS.

STATE POLICE SAY, A CAIRO WOMAN WAS

IN POSSESSION OF COCAINE, WHEN SHE

WAS ARRESTED ON FRANK HITCHCOCK ROAD.

50 YEAR OLD MARYBETH NELSON WAS

CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION

OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND HELD

ON CASH BAIL.

A GERMANTOWN MAN IS ACCUSED OF

HOLDING ANOTHER MAN AGAINST HIS WILL.

29 YEAR OLD JOHN SOUTHARD WAS CHARGED

BY COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES

WITH UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT AND

HARASSMENT. HE HAS AN APPEARANCE

SCHEDULED IN CLERMONT TOWN COURT.

BAIL WAS SET AT 100 DOLLARS.

A 50 YEAR OLD MAN WAS INJURED TUESDAY

EVENING, AFTER CRASHING HIS MOTORCYCLE

ON COUNTY ROUTE 26 IN COXSACKIE, BY

THE FORMER QUARRY STEAKHOUSE. FIRE

AND RESCUE CREWS RESPONDED. THE MAN'S

INJURIES WERE NOT LIFE THREATENING.

A WOMAN WAS TAKEN TO BERKSHIRE

MEDICAL CENTER LATE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

AFTER AN ACCIDENT IN THE PARKING LOT OF

THE CANAAN FIRE COMPANY ON ROUTE 295.

WE'RE TOLD SHE HAD AN INJURY TO HER FOOT

AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY CHATHAM RESCUE.

IN HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 6. THE ACCIDENT

INVOLVED TWO FIREFIGHTERS. STATE POLICE

INVESTIGATED.

IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL FIRE THAT BRIGHT

KISKATOM FIREFIGHTERS TO COMITO'S

INSURANCE ON ROUTE 32 LAST EVENING.

THE CALL CAME IN JUST AFTER 8:45.

CLASSES BEGIN TODAY AT HALF THE

SCHOOLS IN GREENE AND COLUMBIA COUNTIES.

MOTORISTS ARE WARNED, THEY CAN BE

FINED UP TO 400 DOLLARS FOR PASSING A

STOPPED SCHOOL BUS THAT HAS IT'S

FLASHERS ON. SCHOOL OPENS TODAY IN
