A HUDSON MAN WILL SPEND THE NEXT TEN

YEARS IN PRISON, FOR HIS INVOLVEMENT IN A

DRUG RING THAT OPERATED IN COLUMBIA

COUNTY. 32 YEAR OLD WILLIAM MORRISON WAS

SENTENCED YESTERDAY IN FEDERAL COURT.

HE PLEAD GUILTY TO THE CHARGES EARLIER

THIS YEAR.

A FRAUD INVESTIGATION FROM APRIL IN THE

VILLAGE OF CATSKILL HAS LEAD TO THE

ARREST OF A SCHENECTADY MAN. 29 YEAR

OLD DENNIS WHOLLEBER WAS CHARGED BY

STATE POLICE WITH FORGERY, FALSIFYING

BUSINESS RECORDS, AND CRIMINAL

IMPERSONATION. ALL THE CHARGES ARE

FELONIES.

IT WAS A DOMESTIC INCIDENT THAT LEAD

TO THE ARREST OF A STUYVESANT MAN.

32 YEAR OLD ADAM SPAULDING WAS

CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH MENACING,

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, AND AGGRAVATED DWI.

HE WAS RELEASED, PENDING A COURT

APPEARANCE.

A 33 YEAR OLD WOMAN HAD MINOR INJURIES

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, AFTER A TWO CAR

ACCIDENT IN COXSACKIE. FIRE AND RESCUE

CREWS RESPONDED TO MANSION STREET,

NEAR SCHOOL STREET JUST BEFORE 2.

A DOWNED POWER LINE BROUGHT PHILMONT

FIREFIGHTERS TO THE TERRACE APARTMENTS

ON MAIN STREET YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.

POWER WAS OUT TO THE AREA. NYSEG CREWS

WERE CALLED TO REPAIR.

A FIRE IN A BURN BARREL SPREAD TO A

FENCE WEDNESDAY MORNING IN GREENPORT.

FIREMEN RESPONDED TO 2 VIRGINIA AVENUE.

THEY REPORT THE FIRE WAS STARTED BY

OILY RAGS.

ON JULY 31ST, A BREAK-IN AT THE WEST

ATHENS FIREHOUSE RESULTED IN THE LOSS

OF CLOSE TO 1000 DOLLARS. YESTERDAY,

MID-HUDSON CABLE DONATED A THOUSAND

DOLLARS TO THE FIRE COMPANY TO COVER

THEIR LOSS. STATE POLICE ARE STILL

LOOKING FOR THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE
