HUDSON POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR THE

PUBLIC'S HELP, IN FINDING THE PERSON

THAT SHOT A MAN IN THE LEG MONDAY

NIGHT. POLICE SAY, THE MAN WAS

VERY UNCOOPERATIVE AFTER HE ARRIVED

AT COLUMBIA MEMORIAL JUST AFTER 10PM.

POLICE BELIEVE THE INCIDENT HAPPENED

IN THE AREA OF THE 200 BLOCK OF

STATE STREET. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION

IS ASKED TO CALL 518-828-3388.

AN ATHENS MAN WILL SPEND THE NEXT

YEAR AND A HALF IN PRISON, AFTER

PLEADING GUILTY TO ATTEMPTED SEX

ABUSE AND FAILING TO REGISTER AS A

SEX OFFENDER. WHEN 33 YEAR OLD MATTHEW

MAURER WAS ARRESTED BY STATE POLICE

IN FEBRUARY, THEY SAID THE VICTIM

WAS UNDER 13.

A COXSACKIE PRISONER WAS ARRESTED

BY STATE POLICE, ON NEW FELONY CHARGES,

FOR AN INCIDENT REPORTED JULY 8TH.

41 YEAR OLD GUALTER GARERA WAS

CHARGED WITH 7 COUNTS OF POSSESSING

DANGEROUS CONTRABAND IN PRISON.

SCARY MOMENTS LAST NIGHT IN EASTERN

DUTCHESS COUNTY, WHEN A SCHOOL BUS

COLLIDED WITH A VAN. THE ACCIDENT WAS

JUST BEFORE 7 ON ROUTE 22 IN MILLERTON.

THERE WERE 30 PEOPLE ON THE BUS. FOUR

STUDENTS AND THE DRIVER WERE TAKEN

TO THE HOSPITAL. THE DUTCHESS COUNTY

SHERIFF'S OFFICE IS INVESTIGATING.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE CALLED TO

THE WESTBOUND LANES OF THE THRUWAY

IN CANAAN WEDNESDAY, AFTER A CAR

LEFT THE HIGHWAY AND ROLLED OVER.

THE ACCIDENT WAS AROUND 1:45. THE

MAN'S INJURIES WERE MINOR.

STATE POLICE CONDUCTED AN UNDERAGE

DRINKING INITIATIVE LAST NIGHT IN

GREENE COUNTY. OF THE 30 BUSINESSES

VISITED, NONE OF THEM SOLD ALCOHOL

TO THE UNDERAGE DECOY.
