HEAT WARNING FOR OUR AREA STARTING AT NOON.

TEMPERATURES THE NEXT 3 DAYS ARE EXPECTED

IN THE MID TO UPPER 90'S. THE CITY OF

HUDSON WILL OPEN THE CENTRAL FIREHOUSE

AS A COOLING STATION FROM 9 TO 9 THE

NEXT 3 DAYS.

A CATSKILL MAN WILL SPEND THE NEXT 3

AND A HALF TO 5 AND A HALF YEARS IN

PRISON, FOR POSSESSING COCAINE AND A

LOADED HANDGUN. 33 YEAR OLD KINARD GETAW

HAD PLEAD GUILTY IN GREENE COUNTY COURT.

HE WAS PICKED UP IN MARCH DURING A DRUG

RAID ON MAIN STREET.

A CATSKILL WOMAN IS FACING CHARGES

FROM AN INCIDENT APRIL 14TH IN THE

VILLAGE. 22 YEAR OLD JEANETTE WESTLAKE

WAS ARRESTED AS SHE WAS LEAVING THE

ALBANY COUNTY JAIL. SHE WAS CHARGED

WITH HARASSMENT, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF,

AND CRIMINAL CONTEMPT. SHE WAS SENT

TO THE GREENE COUNTY JAIL ON 3000

DOLLARS BAIL.

A TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 23B IN LEEDS

ENDED WITH TOW PEOPLE SENT TO THE GREENE

COUNTY JAIL ON DRUG CHARGES. STATE

POLICE ARRESTED THERESA HANDELMAN OF

ALBANY AND MARK BRAEMER OF WOODSTOCK.

BOTH CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION

OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, WITH INTENT

TO SELL. POLICE RECOVERED AN HALLUCINOGENIC

SUBSTANCE.

A WOMAN WAS INJURED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON,

IN A TWO CAR ACCIDENT IN HUNTER. THE CRASH

WAS JUST AFTER 12:30 ON COUNTY ROUTE 25

AT FRANCE ROAD.

SAD NEWS FROM HUDSON THURSDAY, WHEN ONE

OF THE BALD EAGLES WHO NEST BY THE RIVER,

WAS FOUND DEAD. HUDSON POLICE SAY IT WAS

STRUCK BY AN AMTRAK TRAIN. STATE DEC
