A CONVICTED RAPIST FROM CHATHAM WILL

SPEND THE NEXT 15 YEARS IN PRISON.

44 YEAR OLD MORGAN SHELDON WAS

SENTENCED IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT

FOR THE RAPE THAT TOOK PLACE IN

DECEMBER 2017 IN STUYVESANT.

ALL BRANCHES OF KINDERHOOK BANK

CLOSED AT 3PM FRIDAY. WHEN THEY OPEN

MONDAY MORNING, THEY WILL BE COMMUNITY

BANK. SIGNS WERE CHANGED FRIDAY AT

AREA BRANCHES, AND 35 KINDERHOOK

BANK EMPLOYEES WERE LET GO BEFORE THE

FINAL MERGER TOOK PLACE. EARLIER

THIS YEAR, KINDERHOOK BANK WAS SOLD

TO COMMUNITY BANK FOR 93 MILLION.

A LARCENY INVESTIGATION, THAT BEGAN

APRIL 5TH IN CAIRO, HAS ENDED WITH

THE ARREST OF A QUEENS MAN. STATE

POLICE SAY 20 YEAR OLD DANIEL

PONOMARENKO WAS ARRESTED AT JFK AIRPORT

AND CHARGED WITH GRAND LARCENY. HE

WAS HELD ON 10,000 DOLLARS BAIL.

A HUDSON WOMAN IS ACCUSED OF VIOLATING

AN ORDER OF PROTECTION. 25 YEAR OLD

CRYSTAL BELL WAS CHARGED BY COLUMBIA

COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES WITH

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT. SHE'LL ANSWER THE

CHARGES IN PHILMONT VILLAGE COURT.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE ON THE

SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT FRIDAY, ON THE

THRUWAY IN CATSKILL. JUST BEFORE

3:30, A CALLER REPORTED THAT A WHITE

VAN WENT OVER THE GUARD RAILS IN

THE AREA OF EXIT 21. THE CRASH WAS

IN THE SOUTHBOUND LANES.

FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED TO A CAR
