MULTIPLE FIRE COMPANIES WERE CALLED TO

TACONIC D D S O ON COUNTY ROUTE 19 IN

LIVINGSTON LAST AFTER FIRE BROKE OUT.

WE'RE TOLD IT WAS PUT OUT QUICKLY AND

MAY HAVE BEEN IN THE AREA OF A PORCH.

THERE WAS A SMOKE CONDITION IN THE

BUILDING. THE CALL CAME IN JUST AFTER 8.

HUNTER FIREFIGHTERS ALSO RESPONDED TO

A STRUCTURE FIRE WEDNESSDAY. A FIRE

WAS REPORTED INSIDE A BARN ON MAIN

STREET JUST BEFORE 3:30.

THERE WERE TWO VEHICLE FIRES IN

COLUMBIA COUNTY YESTERDAY. THE FIRST WAS

ON DELAWARE AVENUE IN GREENPORT. THE

SECOND ON COUNTY ROUTE 21 IN KINDERHOOK.

GREENPORT FIRE AND RESCUE WERE CALLED

TO AN ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT, THAT WAS

REPORTED AT THE ROUNDABOUT JUST

BEFORE 9:30. THE ACCIDENT WAS ACTUALLY

ABOUT A QUARTER MILE SOUTH OF THERE

AND WAS VERY MINOR, THAT FIRE AND

RESCUE WAS CALLED OFF BEFORE THEY

ARRIVED.

A VALATIE DOCTOR HAS BEEN INDICTED IN

FEDERAL COURT, FOR HER ALLEGED ROLE IN

A SEVEN MILLION DOLLAR HEALTHCARE FRAUD

CONSPIRACY. THE U.S. ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

SAYS 63 YEAR OLD ANNA STEINER SIGNED

PRESCRIPTIONS FOR DRUGS AND MEDICAL

EQUIPMENT THAT WERE NOT NECESSARY, IN

EXCHANGE FOR KICKBACKS.

A COBLESKILL COUPLE HAS BEEN ARRESTED

ON FELONY CHARGES , FROM A MARCH 28TH

FRAUD INVESTIGATION IN GREENVILLE.

43 YEAR OLD JOHN CATER IS CHARGED WITH

11 COUNTS OF IDENTITY THEFT, 11 COUNTS

OF CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION, GRAND LARCENY,

AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. 39 YEAR OLD

JAMIE CATER WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL

MISCHIEF. BOTH WERE HELD ON CASH BAIL.

AN INJURED HAWK IS BEING TREATED AT

AN AREA WILDLIFE REHABILITATOR AFTER

BEING INJURED ON ROUTE 23 IN CLAVERACK.

STATE PARK POLICE OFFICER BILL ARP

LOCATED THE BIRD, AND TURNED IT OVER

TO ENCON POLICE OFFICER MIKE ARP.

THE TWO OFFICERS ARE BROTHERS.
