NATIONAL GRID CREWS WORKED INTO THE NIGHT,

TRYING TO RESTORE POWER TO BLISS TOWERS

IN HUDSON. POWER WAS RESTORED BEFORE 1 THIS

MORNING. THE HIGH RISE WENT DARK MONDAY

MORNING DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.

RESIDENTS WERE ABLE TO USE THE HUDSON CENTRAL

FIRE STATION TO COOL OFF.

A GHENT MAN FACES FELONY CHARGES, AFTER

FALLING OFF A MOTORCYCLE HE WAS DRIVING

ON GREGORY ROAD. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY

SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS 37 YEAR OLD ERIK

OLSEN WAS NOT INJURED. HE WAS CHARGED

WITH DWI AND SEVERAL TRAFFIC CHARGES.

SERIOUS CHARGES FROM A DOMESTIC

INCIDENT MONDAY IN HILLSDALE. 35 YEAR

OLD THOMAS GOLDEN OF COPAKE WAS CHARGED

BY STATE POLICE WITH FELONY KIDNAPPING

AND CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION OF BREATHING.

HE WAS HELD AFTER HIS ARREST.

COXSACKIE FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED

TO A TRACTOR TRAILER FIRE ON THE THRUWAY

TUESDAY EVENING. THE CAB WAS REPORTED

TO BE ON FIRE, IN THE SOUTHBOUND

LANES, AROUND 8:45.

NEW BALTIMORE FIREMEN ALSO RESPONDED

TO A VEHICLE FIRE LAST NIGHT. THE SUV

WAS REPORTED TO BE ON FIRE ON SHADY

HARBOR DRIVE.

AN ALTERCATION ON MAIN STREET IN CATSKILL

ENDED WITH A VILLAGE MAN UNDER ARREST.

CATSKILL POLICE CHARGED 27 YEAR OLD AARON

FISHMAN WITH ASSAULT. HE WAS RELEASED,

PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE NEXT WEEK.

THE GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS

THEY ARE STEPPING UP ENFORCEMENT OF

THE NO PARKING RULES, AT THE SWIMMING

HOLES ON ROUTE 23 IN CATSKILL.THEY

WENT ON TO SAY, THAT REMOVING THE NO

PARKING SIGNS IS A CRIME.
