AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO A LARCENY

AT A CONTRACTING COMPANY ON FALLS ROAD

IN GHENT, A HUDSON MAN FACES FELONY

CHARGES. 54 YEAR OLD GEORGE WASHBURN

WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH

GRAND LARCENY ON WEDNESDAY. HE WAS

GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT.

A DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN THE TOWN OF

DURHAM ENDED WITH A CAIRO MAN UNDER

ARREST. 61 YEAR OLD KEVIN POUSADA

WAS CHARGED BY STARE POLICE WITH

ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. HE WAS

RELEASED PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.

TWO PATIENTS WERE TAKEN TO COLUMBIA

MEMORIAL YESTERDAY AFTERNOON,

AFTER A TWO CAR ACCIDENT IN GREENPORT.

THE CRASH WAS JUST BEFORE 2 ON FAIRVIEW

AVENUE AT JOSLEN BOULEVARD.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS RESPONDED TO

AN ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT IN HILLSDALE.

THE CALL CAME IN AROUND 10:45 ON ROUTE

22 NEAR WHIPPORWILL ROAD.

EAST CHATHAM FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED

TO THE X-TRA MART ON ROUTE 295

THURSDAY AFTERNOON. AN ATV HAD CAUGHT

FIRE BEHIND THE STORE. FIREMEN WERE

ON THE SCENE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR.

A VEHICLE FIRE BROUGHT NIVERVILLE

FIREMEN TO THE VALATIE HANNAFORD EARLY

THIS MORNING. THE CAR RECEIVED CONSIDERABLE

DAMAGE, AND NEEDED TO BE TOWED

FROM THE SCENE.

A PINE PLAINS MAN IS ACCUSED OF VIOLATING

AN ORDER OF PROTECTION, WITH A VICTIM IN

COPAKE. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S

OFFICE SAYS 44 YEAR OLD JIMMY MCBROOM

ALSO BROKE THE VICTIM'S CELL PHONE. HE

HAS A COURT APPEARANCE SCHEDULED.

IT'S ANOTHER NIGHT OF FIREWORKS IN

GREENE COUNTY TONIGHT. THE LIGHT SHOW,

AT DUTCHMAN'S LANDING IN CATSKILL,

BEGINS AT DUSK. THE FIREWORKS WERE

RESCHEDULED FROM LAST NIGHT, DUE TO

A SCHEDULING ISSUE WITH THE COMPANY.
