THE 32 YEAR OLD CAIRO WOMAN, WHO POLICE SAID,

TRIED TO ENROLL IN CAIRO DURHAM HIGH SCHOOL

LAST DECEMBER, AS A 15 YEAR OLD HOMELESS

STUDENT, PLEAD GUILTY IN GREENE COUNTY

COURT TO FALSIFYING BUSINESS RECORDS. THE

GREENE COUNTY D.A.'S OFFICE SAYS SENTENCING

FOR MICHAELANN GOODRICH WILL BE HELD

LATER THIS YEAR.

ALSO IN GREENE COUNTY COURT, 32 YEAR OLD

MATTHEW MAURER PLEAD GUILTY TO FAILURE TO

REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER AND ATTEMPTED

SEXUAL ABUSE. THE ATHENS MAN WAS CHARGED

IN FEBRUARY BY STATE POLICE WITH SEXUAL

ABUSE, WITH A VICTIM UNDER 13.

A NEW PALTZ MAN WAS ARRESTED ON FELONY

DRUG CHARGES, AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP

ON THE THRUWAY IN NEW BALTIMORE.

48 YEAR OLD THOMAS MELIUS IS ACCUSED

OF BEING IN POSSESSION OF HALLUCINOGENS.

HE'S CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED

SUBSTANCE.

IT WAS A BRUSH FIRE THAT BROUGHT NEW

BALTIMORE FIREFIGHTERS TO THE THRUWAY

TUESDAY AFTERNOON. AN AREA WAS BLACKENED,

IN THE NORTHBOUND LANES, NORTH OF EXIT

21B.

HUDSON FIRE AND GREENPORT RESCUE WERE

CALLED TO A TWO CAR ACCIDENT YESTERDAY

MORNING. IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 11:30

AT FAIRVIEW AND GRAHAM AVENUES. HUDSON

POLICE INVESTIGATED.
