A BARN WAS DESTROYED BY FIRE THIS

MORNING IN GERMANTOWN. MULTIPLE COMPANIES

RESPONDED TO 127 LASHER ROAD JUST AFTER

6. ARRIVING UNITS REPORTED THE BARN WAS

FULLY INVOLVED. NO WORD ON WHAT THE

BARN WAS USED FOR.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

IS LOOKING FOR A STOLEN ALLIGATOR.

THE REPTILE WAS TAKEN DURING A

BURGLARY AT A HOME ON CEMETERY ROAD

IN NEW LEBANON. ANYONE THAT MIGHT HAVE

INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CALL

TWO HUDSON RESIDENTS WERE SENTENCED

FRIDAY ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES IN

COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT. MICHAEL ELIE

WILL SERVE 2 YEARS IN PRISON. PAULA

LORD GOT 5 YEARS PROBATION. BOTH

WERE INDICTED BY A GRAND JURY LAST

DECEMBER.

A GREENPORT WOMAN WAS CHARGED WITH

DRUG POSSESSION, AFTER AN INCIDENT

ON ROUTE 9G THURSDAY. THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS THEY

RESPONDED TO REPORTS OF A SUSPICIOUS

PERSON WALKING IN THE ROAD, TRYING

TO GET A RIDE. THEY SAY, JODI PLANTHABER

WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR TOWN

COURT.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE CALLED TO

AN ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT IN ANCRAM.

A VEHICLE STRUCK A PIECE OF FARMING

EQUIPMENT ON ROUTE 22 JUST BEFORE 9.

THE DRIVER REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT.

POLICE INVESTIGATED.

THE CITY OF HUDSON WILL BE GETTING

CHARGING STATIONS FOR ELECTRIC

CARS. NATIONAL GRID ANNOUNCED

FRIDAY THAT THE CITY HAS BEEN

APPROVED FOR THE GRANT PROGRAM.

WERE TOLD, THAT THE STATIONS WILL

BE INSTALLED BEHIND CITY HALL,

AND WILL HAPPEN IN A FEW MONTHS.
