A VIOLENT APRIL HOME INVASION IN

CANAAN APPEARED IN COLUMBIA COUNTY

COURT WEDNESDAY. 21 YEAR OLD ZILLA

KELLY AND 22 YEAR OLD TOMAS SIMPSON

BOTH WAIVED INDICTMENT. A TRIAL DATE

IS SET FOR DECEMBER. A VICTIM WAS

ASSAULTED AT A HOME ON PEACEFUL VALLEY

ROAD APRIL 17TH.

AN INCIDENT ON MAIN STREET IN CATSKILL

HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A VILLAGE

MAN. 38 YEAR OLD ROBERT SIMPSON WAS

CHARGED BY CATSKILL POLICE WITH

HARASSMENT, OBSTRUCTION, AND DISORDERLY

CONDUCT. HE WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE

TICKETS FOR COURT.

TWO AREA PRISONERS WERE CHARGED TUESDAY

WITH POSSESSING DANGEROUS CONTRABAND

IN PRISON. IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS, STATE

POLICE ARRESTED 44 YEAR OLD SHERMAN

CHAMBERS AT HUDSON CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

AND 19 YEAR OLD KOBY MANGIN AT COXSACKIE.

BOTH WERE TAKEN BACK TO PRISON AFTER

BEING CHARGED.

AN 8 YEAR OLD GIRL IS BEING TREATED

FOR A HEAD INJURY, AFTER A BICYCLE

ACCIDENT YESTERDAY IN KISKATOM.

CATSKILL AMBULANCE RESPONDED TO THE

SCENE, ON MOUNTAIN TURNPIKE ROAD.

THE ACCIDENT WAS AFTER 6.

UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS ARE OUT FOR APRIL,

AND COLUMBIA COUNTY LEADS THE STATE

ONCE AGAIN WITH THE LOWEST, AT 2.9
