A PHILMONT WOMAN FACES CHARGES, IN

CONNECTION WITH THE MONDAY MORNING

ACCIDENT, WHERE A THREE YEAR OLD

FELL FROM A 3RD STORY WINDOW AT A

RESIDENCE ON MAIN STREET. ON TUESDAY,

STATE POLICE CHARGED 29 YEAR OLD

BRITTANY SKELLEY WITH ACTING IN A

MANNER TO INJURE A CHILD. SHE WAS

GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT.

STATE POLICE SAY, MORE INFORMATION

WILL BE RELEASED TODAY.

POLICE, FIRE, AND RESCUE CREWS

RACED TO AN AREA OF HARLEMVILLE

ROAD IN THE TOWN OF HILLSDALE

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. COLUMBIA

COUNTY 9 1 1 REPORTED THAT A MAN

WAS 1000 FEET IN THE WOODS

HAVING A HEART ATTACK. THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS

GREENPORT RESCUE TRANSPORTED THE

MAN FROM THE SCENE. NO WORD THIS

MORNING ON HIS CONDITION. THE MAN

WAS PART OF A CREW, MARKING TREES

IN THE AREA.

A HILLSDALE MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL, AFTER A

TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 23 IN COPAKE.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

SAYS 46 YEAR OLD MICHAEL FERANDA

WAS CHARGED WITH DWI, DRIVING WITHOUT

A LICENSE, CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION,

OBSTRUCTION, AND CONSUMING ALCOHOL

IN A MOTOR VEHICLE. BAIL WAS SET

AT 1500 DOLLARS.

A PRISONER AT COXSACKIE CORRECTIONAL

FACILITY HAS BEEN ARRESTED ON NEW

CHARGES. 25 YEAR OLD JAKYMA JONES

WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSING DANGEROUS

CONTRABAND IN PRISON, FROM AN INCIDENT

REPORTED IN FEBRUARY. AFTER BEING

CHARGED AT THE STATE POLICE BARRACKS,

HE WAS TAKEN BACK TO PRISON.

A TRANSFORMER EXPLOSION BROUGHT

EAST DURHAM FIREMEN TO AN AREA OF

ROUTE 145 LAST NIGHT. THE CALL CAME IN

AT AN AREA NEAR ST. MARY'S CHURCH.

CENTRAL HUDSON CREWS WERE ALSO

CALLED TO THE AREA.

THE NEW PRESIDENT AT COLUMBIA GREENE

COMMUNITY COLLEGE WAS NAMED WEDNESDAY.

CARLEE DRUMMER WILL TAKE OVER THE

TOP SPOT IN JULY. SHE COMES FROM

QUINEBAUG VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

IN CONNECTICUT. THE COLLEGE'S CURRENT

PRESIDENT, JIM CAMPION IS RETIRING

AFTER 19 YEARS.

THE ANNUAL MOVE COLUMBIA HEALTH AND

WELLNESS FAIR HAS A NEW LOCATION

THIS YEAR. TODAY'S EVENT WILL TAKE
