A COPAKE MAN, WHO ADMITTED TO RAPING

A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL, WAS SENTENCED

TO PRISON THURSDAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY

COURT. 22 YEAR OLD MARVIN VASQUEZ-

MORALES WILL SERVE THREE AND A HALF

YEARS.

ALSO IN COUNTY COURT YESTERDAY,

THE GHENT MAN, WHO SHOT A HOUSE,

WHILE SHOOTING AT A DEER LAST DECEMBER,

WAS ALSO SENTENCED TO PRISON. 37 YEAR

OLD WILLIAM BALDWIN GOT 2 TO 4 YEARS

FOR RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AND ONE

AND A THIRD TO FOUR YEARS FOR A

PROBATION VIOLATION.

AN 11 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS INJURED

THURSDAY MORNING, AFTER SHE WAS STRUCK

BY A CAR ON MAIN STREET IN TANNERSVILLE.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS RESPONDED AROUND

11. HER INJURIES WERE SAID TO BE NOT

LIFE THREATENING.

TWO ACCIDENTS THURSDAY MORNING WERE

INVESTIGATED BY POLICE. THE FIRST

WAS ON ROUTE 23A IN PALENVILLE. THE

SECOND WAS ON DOODLETOWN ROAD IN

ANCRAM.

FALLEN POWER LINES STARTED A BRUSH

FIRE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON IN

TAGHKANIC. IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE

2 ON ROUTE 82. NATIONAL GRID WAS

CALLED TO MAKE REPAIRS.

FIREFIGHTERS WERE ALSO CALLED TO

A BRUSH FIRE YESTERDAY ON GREEN

LAKE ROAD IN ATHENS.

GREENPORT FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED

TO A DUMPSTER FIRE LAST NIGHT AT

MCDONALDS ON FAIRVIEW AVENUE. IT

WAS REPORTED JUST BEFORE 10:30

A PINE PLAINS MAN, WHO WAS ARRESTED

ON CHILD PORN CHARGES IN MARCH,

HAS BEEN INDICTED ON ADDITIONAL

CHARGES. STATE POLICE REPORT 34 YEAR

OLD NICHOLAS TERILLI WAS CHARGED WITH

TWO COUNTS EACH OF, USE OF A CHILD

IN A SEXUAL PERFORMANCE, SEXUAL

ABUSE, AND POSSESSION OF A SEXUAL

PERFORMANCE BY A CHILD. HE CONTINUES

TO BE HELD ON BAIL.
