A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER IS GOING

BACK TO PRISON. EL-JALON THORNTON OF

HUDSON WAS SENTENCED IN COLUMBIA COUNTY

COURT THURSDAY TO 2 TO 6 YEARS. THORNTON

HAD PLEAD GUILTY TO FAILING TO REGISTER

AS A SEX OFFENDER. HE WAS THE SUBJECT

OF A POLICE SEARCH LAST AUGUST.

ALSO IN COUNTY COURT YESTERDAY, A

PHILADELPHIA MAN PLEAD GUILTY TO

TWO COUNTS OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, AND CRIMINAL

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. 36 YEAR OLD

JONATHAN MENENDEZ-LAFTA WAS ARRESTED

LAST JUNE, AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP IN

NEW LEBANON.

AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO AN

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN THE TOWN OF CAIRO,

A ROUND TOP MAN FACES CHARGES.

32 YEAR OLD ANDREW APREA WAS BROUGHT

TO THE STATE POLICE BARRACKS IN LEEDS,

WHERE HE WAS CHARGED WITH TRESPASS

AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. HE'LL ANSWER

THE CHARGES IN COURT.

A PINE PLAINS WOMAN IS ACCUSED OF
