A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AND VOLLYEBALL

COACH AT TACONIC HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT

IS ACCUSED OF HAVING A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP

WITH SOMEONE UNDER 17 FOR SEVERAL MONTHS.

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

CHARGED 23 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER MACARTHUR

WITH CRIMINAL SEX ACT. HE WAS RELEASED,

PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.

THE SUPERINTENDENT AT ICHABOD CRANE

CENTRAL SCHOOLS WAS CHARGED WITH DWI AND

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, OVER

THE WEEKEND IN SARATOGA COUNTY. THE

SCHOOL BOARD WAS TO HOLD A SPECIAL

MEETING LAST NIGHT, TO DISCUSS THE

CHARGES AGAINST MICHAEL VANYO, BUT

POSTPONED THE MEETING UNTIL TONIGHT.

A HUDSON MAN WAS SENT TO THE GREENE

COUNTY JAIL, ON FELONY BURGLARY

CHARGES, FROM AN INCIDENT REPORTED

IN JANUARY. CATSKILL POLICE ARRESTED

42 YEAR OLD JOHN DOBROUCH. HE WAS

HELD ON 5000 DOLLARS BAIL.

GERMANTOWN FIRE AND NORTHERN

DUTCHESS PARAMEDICS WERE ON THE SCENE

OF A ONE CAR ACCIDENT MONDAY MORNING

IN GERMANTOWN. THE CRASH HAPPENED

AROUND 9:15 ON ROUTE 9G NEAR SHARPE'S LANDING

ROAD. THE ACCIDENT CAUSED DAMAGE

TO PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD.

A GHENT BRIDGE, THAT HAS BEEN IN

NEED OF REPAIR, WILL BE REPLACED

THIS SUMMER. WORK HAS BEGUN ON THE

ROUTE 66 BRIDGE OVER THE KLINE KILL.

THE WORK WILL CLOSE THE BRIDGE FROM

LATE JUNE THROUGH THE END OF AUGUST.

THE PLANNED DETOUR WILL BE AROUND

FOUR MILES.

GRADUATION CEREMONIES WERE HELD OVER

THE WEEKEND AT COLUMBIA GREENE

COMMUNITY COLLEGE, FOR THE ZONE 14

LAW ENFORCEMENT ACADEMY. TEN OFFICERS

FROM TEN DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS

GRADUATED THIS YEAR.
