A NEW BALTIMORE HOME WAS DESTROYED BY

FIRE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. HALF A DOZEN

FIRE COMPANIES RESPONDED TO 1111 STATE

ROAD JUST BEFORE 3. THE HOME WAS FULLY

INVOLVED WHEN FIREFIGHTERS ARRIVED.

WE'RE TOLD THE OCCUPANTS GOT OUT

SAFELY. NO REPORTS ON INJURIES.

WHILE AT THE SCENE OF THE HOUSE FIRE,

NEW BALTIMORE AND COXSACKIE FIREMEN

GOT A SECOND CALL. A PICKUP TRUCK

WAS ON FIRE, AT THE GAS PUMPS OF

THE NEW BALTIMORE SERVICE AREA ON

THE THRUWAY.

BRUSH FIRES KEPT AREA FIREFIGHTERS

BUSY YESTERDAY. SOME OF THE LARGER ONES

WERE ON RAILROAD AVENUE AND MAPLE

AVENUE IN PHILMONT, SANDY PLAINS ROAD

IN LEEDS, TICE HILL ROAD IN GHENT,

ROCKVIEW ROAD IN HILLSDALE, AND HERVEY

STREET ROAD IN DURHAM.

AN INCIDENT AT A HOME ON HARRY HOWARD

AVENUE IN HUDSON CAUSED HUDSON SCHOOLS

TO GO INTO SHELTER IN PLACE MODE

YESTERDAY MORNING. CITY POLICE SAY

AN 18 YEAR OLD THREATENED HIS MOTHER

WITH A KNIFE AND A FLARE GUN, THAT

WAS MODIFIED TO FIRE A SHOTGUN SHELL.

HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND

ARRAIGNED IN CITY COURT.

AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE, AFTER A WOMAN

WAS ASSAULTED IN THE PARKING LOT OF GREEN

LAKE IN ATHENS LATE LAST WEEK. STATE POLICE

CHARGED 19 YEAR OLD TELINA GOODSILL OF

EARLTON WITH ASSAULT. STATE DEC OFFICERS SAY

THE VICTIM WAS HIT MULTIPLE TIMES WITH A

BLUNT OBJECT SHE WAS TREATED AT COLUMBIA

MEMORIAL.

THE CATSKILL MAN, WHO WAS CONVICTED IN

THE MURDER OF BRANDYN FOSTER IN 2017,

IS SCHEDULED TO BE SENTENCED TODAY IN

GREENE COUNTY COURT. THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE

32 YEAR OLD CARLOS GRAHAM CAN RECEIVE IS 25

YEARS TO LIFE.
