SCARY MOMENTS FOR THE OCCUPANTS OF

A CAR IN GREENVILLE MONDAY MORNING.

THE VEHICLE STRUCK A POLE ON KING HILL

ROAD, WITH LIVE WIRES COMING DOWN

ON TOP OF THE CAR. GREENVILLE FIRE AND

CENTRAL HUDSON RESPONDED. THERE WERE

NO REPORTED INJURIES.

STATE POLICE IDENTIFIED THE TRUCK

DRIVERS, INVOLVED IN THE FATAL CRASH

SUNDAY MORNING ON THE THRUWAY IN

CATSKILL. THEY SAY, 51 YEAR OLD

IRINEL MIADIN KENNEDY OF SCHENECTADY

WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE.

63 YEAR OLD MICHAEL WOLF OF PENNSYLVANIA

WAS TREATED AT ALBANY MED.

A PITTSFIELD MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL AFTER A TRAFFIC

STOP ON ROUTE 20 IN NEW LEBANON. 20

YEAR OLD MICHAEL MERWIN WAS CHARGED BY

STATE POLICE WITH TWO FELONY COUNTS

OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED

SUBSTANCE. POLICE SAY, THEY RECOVERED

A QUANTITY OF LSD.

AN ATHENS WOMAN WAS CHARGED WITH

FELONY BURGLARY, AFTER HER ARREST AT

THE CATSKILL WALMART. 39 YEAR OLD

SHELLEY JEAN SAMPSON WAS GIVEN

APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT BY

CATSKILL POLICE.

AFTER BEING CALLED TO A DISTURBANCE

ON LAKE ROAD IN TANNERSVILLE, A PALENVILLE

MAN FACES CHARGES. 23 YEAR OLD JESSIE

ALBERT WAS CHARGED BY POLICE WITH

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. HE WAS GIVEN

APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT.

AFTER HEARING ABOUT THE VILLAGE OF

CATSKILL POSSIBLY RE-BRANDING AND

DROPPING RIP VAN WINKLE AS A SYMBOL, A

GROUP HAS FORMED TO KEEP THE HISTORIC
