FIRE CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO A TOWN

OF CLAVERACK HOME YESTERDAY MORNING

NINE FIRE COMPANIES RESPONDED TO 139

LOCKWOOD ROAD JUST BEFORE 4. THE HOME'S

OCCUPANTS GOT OUT OK. THE CAUSE IS

UNDER INVESTIGATION.

GREENE COUNTY HAS STOPPED HOUSING

INMATES AT THE ULSTER COUNTY JAIL,

CHOOSING INSTEAD TO HOUSE THEM IN

ALBANY COUNTY. SHERIFF GREG SEELEY TOLD

US TUESDAY, THAT THE COST FOR BOTH

JAILS IS THE SAME, BUT ALBANY IS CLOSER.

ULSTER COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY THEY WILL

LOSE AN ESTIMATED 730 THOUSAND DOLLARS

BECAUSE OF THE SWITCH.

LEEDS FIRE AND CATSKILL AMBULANCE WERE

CALLED TO AN ACCIDENT TUESDAY AFTERNOON

COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT TUESDAY, TO

BA ARRAIGNED ON CHARGES OF FAILING TO

REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER. THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY D.A.'S OFFICE SAYS

A TRIAL DATE FOR 37 YEAR OLD EUGENE

COBBINS HAS BEEN SET FOR AUGUST 12TH.

THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE

ANNOUNCED TUESDAY, THAT 62.5 MILLION

DOLLARS IN CREDITS, HAVE BEGUN FOR

SPECTRUM CUSTOMERS.THE CREDITS WERE

PART OF A SETTLEMENT WITH THE A.G.'S

OFFICE LAST YEAR.

THE POWERBALL JACKPOT CONTINUES TO

GO UP. THE NEW YORK LOTTERY REPORTS

THAT TONIGHT'S JACKPOT HAS JUMPED
