SHE WAS STRUCK BY A CAR IN HUDSON.

THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED JUST AFTER

8:30 ON NORTH SECOND STREET AT

PRISON ALLEY.

QUICK WORK BY FIREFIGHTERS, KEPT

DAMAGE TO A MINIMUM SATURDAY IN

VALATIE. FIVE FIRE COMPANIES WERE

FIRE CREWS RESPONDED TO AN AREA OFF

COUNTY ROUTE 15, WHEN THE DOWNED

WIRES STARTED A BRUSH FIRE. POWER

WAS OUT FOR SEVERAL HOURS.

A TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 295 IN

CANAAN HAS LANDED A CONNECTICUT MAN

IN THE COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL. STATE

POLICE SAY, 43 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER

ROBERTS WAS IN POSSESSION OF A

LOADED FIREARM. HE WAS ALSO CHARGED

WITH DRUG POSSESSION AND DWI.

A PALENVILLE WOMAN WAS TAKEN TO

THE ULSTER COUNTY JAIL, AFTER SHE

ROLLED HE CAR OVER ON ROUTE 32A

IN SAUGERTIES. POLICE SAY, 24 YEAR

OLD BETHANY HUGHES WAS DRIVING WHILE

INTOXICATED, ON A CONDITIONAL LICENSE.

SHE WAS CONVICTED IN JANUARY OF

DWAI. BAIL WAS SET AT 10,000 DOLLARS

ROUTE 295 IN CHATHAM WAS CLOSED FOR

AN HOUR SATURDAY, WHEN A CAR SNAPPED

A UTILITY POLE. POLICE SAY, THE DRIVER

REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT. NYSEG

REPLACED THE POLE.
