A FRAUD INVESTIGATION IN NEW BALTIMORE

HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A ROUND TOP

WOMAN. 42 YEAR OLD TONYA DARQUEA WAS

CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH FORGERY,

IDENTITY THEFT, AND UNLAWFUL POSSESSION

OF PERSONAL ID. SHE WAS RELEASED,

PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.

TWO MASSACHUSETTS MEN WERE TAKEN TO

THE COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL, AFTER A

TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 217 IN CLAVERACK.

STATE POLICE CHARGED 45 YEAR OLD PETER

HUMPHREY AND 44 YEAR OLD RYAN GARVEY

WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED

SUBSTANCE.

A HILLSDALE MAN WAS SENT TO THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY JAIL, AFTER AN ACCIDENT ON ROUTE

22. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

CHARGED 30 YEAR OLD TIMOTHY SHUFELT

WITH CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, OBSTRUCTION,

AGGRAVATED DWI, PUBLIC LEWDNESS, AND

TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS. THEY SAY, SHUFELT

DAMAGED EQUIPMENT AT THEIR SUB-STATION.

BAIL WAS SET AT 5000 DOLLARS.

IT WAS AN OVEN FIRE THAT BROUGHT ROUND

TOP FIREMEN TO 338 ROUTE 39 WEDNESDAY

AFTERNOON. IT WAS REPORTED JUST AFTER

1:30.

HUDSON'S FIRST WARD ALDERMAN HAS
