A THIRD SKIER HAS DIED AT HUNTER

MOUNTAIN IN 2019. A 22 YEAR OLD NEW

JERSEY MAN WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT

ALBANY MED SATURDAY NIGHT, ACCORDING

TO STATE POLICE. THE MAN WAS INJURED

EARLIER IN THE DAY ON THE TWILIGHT

TRAIL. THE OTHER VICTIMS WERE A 24

YEAR OLD NEW JERSEY MAN IN FEBRUARY,

AND A 27 YEAR OLD HERKIMER COUNTY

MAN IN JANUARY.

TWO HUDSON RESIDENTS ARE IN THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL, FOLLOWING A

DRUG INVESTIGATION BY THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. THEY SAY,

41 YEAR OLD HOWARD MACKEY AND 36

YEAR OLD TASHA ROGERS WERE IN

POSSESSION OF OVER 400 DOSES OF

HEROIN, OVER 5000 DOLLARS IN

CASH AND A TASER. THE TWO WERE

ARRESTED ON SIMILAR CHARGES LAST

NOVEMBER.

A FIRE IN THE KITCHEN CLOSED

THE COXSACKIE MCDONALDS MONDAY

MORNING. FIREFIGHTERS RESPONDED

TO THE RESTAURANT ON ROUTE 9W

JUST BEFORE 6. WE'RE TOLD IT

BEGAN FROM A GAS LEAK. THERE WERE

NO REPORTED INJURIES. REPAIRS NEED

TO BE MADE BEFORE THEY CAN REOPEN.

THE SECOND RAPE TRIAL OF A STOCKPORT

MAN HAS ENDED AGAIN WITH A HUNG JURY.

44 YEAR OLD JEFFREY BARMEN'S FIRST

TRIAL, LAST NOVEMBER, ENDED THE SAME

WAY. HE WAS ARRESTED ON THE CHARGES

LAST MARCH. WE HAVE NOT LEARNED YET,

IF THE COLUMBIA COUNTY D.A.'S OFFICE

WILL TRY AGAIN.

FOUR HIKERS WERE RESCUED BY STATE

FOREST RANGERS AT KAATERSKILL FALLS.

THEY REPORT, THE FOUR DID NOT HAVE

PROPER FOOT GEAR AND WERE STUCK

ON THE ICE. THERE WERE NO REPORTED

INJURIES, AND THEY WERE RETURNED

SAFELY TO THE PARKING LOT.

STATE POLICE SAY A KINDERHOOK WOMAN

WAS TWICE THE LEGAL LIMIT WHEN SHE

WAS STOPPED ON THE THRUWAY IN ORANGE

COUNTY. 23 YEAR OLD SUMMER CLEVENGER

WAS CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED DWI,

ALONG WITH VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC

VIOLATIONS. POLICE SAY HER BLOOD

ALCOHOL CONTENT WAS 0.20 PERCENT.

SHE WAS RELEASED TO A THIRD PARTY,

PENDING A COURT APPEARANCE.
