A HUDSON TRAFFIC STOP FRIDAY NIGHT

TURNED UP 350 DOSES OF HEROIN AND A

STOLEN HANDGUN FROM SOUTH CAROLINA.

HUDSON POLICE REPORT THE ARREST OF

37 YEAR OLD DORIAN CARR, 24 YEAR OLD

AUSTIN CARR, AND 25 YEAR OLD MALEEK

SINGLETON. POLICE STOPPED THE CAR

ON COLUMBIA STREET IN THE AREA OF

BLISS TOWERS. THE THREE ARE IN THE

COLUMBIA COUNTY JAIL.

EVERYTHING TURNED OUT OK LAST NIGHT.

AFTER POLICE RESPONDED TO HUDSON

HIGH SCHOOL, BECAUSE OF A THREATENING

MESSAGE THAT WAS FOUND WRITTEN IN A

BATHROOM. POLICE SAY, THE BUILDING WAS

SEARCHED AND NOTHING WAS FOUND. ALL

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES HAD ENDED FOR THE

DAY.

A GROUP THAT SHIELDS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

HELD A PHONE PROTEST FRIDAY. THE COLUMBIA

COUNTY SANCTUARY MOVEMENT WANTED RESIDENTS

TO CALL HUDSON MAYOR RICK RECTOR TO SAY

THEY WERE UNHAPPY ABOUT HUDSON POLICE'S

INVOLVEMENT IN AN INCIDENT TUESDAY

THAT INVOLVED ICE AGENTS. A MEETING

MEMORIAL AFTER AN ACCIDENT FRIDAY

AFTERNOON IN GREENPORT. THE TWO CAR

CRASH CLOSED FAIRVIEW AVENUE AT

JOSLEN BOULEVARD EXTENSION FOR A

PERIOD.

A ONE CAR ACCIDENT CLOSED COUNTY

ROUTE 21 IN STUYVESANT LAST NIGHT.

FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS RESPONDED

JUST AFTER 10.

A 14 YEAR OLD BOY FROM ATHENS IS

FACING SERIOUS CHARGES, AFTER HIS

ARREST THURSDAY BY STATE POLICE.

HE WAS CHARGED WITH DISSEMINATING

INDECENT MATERIAL TO A MINOR. THE

INCIDENT WAS REPORTED IN JANUARY.

HE WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS

FOR COURT.

THE GREENVILLE MAN THAT PLEAD GUILTY

TO MANY GREENE COUNTY BURGLARIES LAST

YEAR, WAS SENTENCED TO PRISON IN GREENE

COUNTY COURT. 50 YEAR OLD TODD RAFFIANI

WILL SERVE 15 YEARS AND PAY 10,000

DOLLARS RESTITUTION.
