WITH A JURY IN PLACE, THE RE-TRIAL

OF 44 YEAR OLD JEFFREY BARMEN BEGAN

IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT YESTERDAY.

HE'S ACCUSED OF A 2017 RAPE IN

KINDERHOOK. THE FIRST TRIAL, LAST

NOVEMBER, ENDED WITH A HUNG JURY.

IN ANOTHER RAPE CASE, 44 YEAR OLD

MORGAN SHELDON OF STUYVESANT WAS

IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT TUESDAY.

HE DID NOT PLEAD GUILTY, SO A

TRIAL DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR JULY

30TH.

A DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN TANNERSVILLE

HAS A VILLAGE MAN FACING FELONY

CHARGES. 32 YEAR OLD KEITH MCCLAIN

WAS CHARGED WITH MENACING, AGGRAVATED

FAMILY OFFENSE, AND CRIMINAL POSSESSION

OF A WEAPON. HE WAS HELD AFTER HIS

ARREST.

ANOTHER DOMESTIC INCIDENT, IN DURHAM,

HAS A TOWN MAN UNDER ARREST. 30 YEAR

OLD DEREK BUTTERWORTH WAS CHARGED BY

STATE POLICE WITH STALKING AND

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT. HE WAS ALSO HELD

BY POLICE.

AN INVESTIGATION INTO A PASSED SCHOOL

BUS HAS LEAD TO A LONG LIST OF

CHARGES FOR A STUYVESANT MAN. 55 YEAR

OLD MARK CRISPINO WAS CHARGED WITH

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT, RECKLESS

DRIVING, FAILURE TO STOP FOR A

SCHOOL BUS, IMPROPER PASSING ON RIGHT,

AND SPEEDING. HE'LL ANSWER THE

CHARGES IN COURT.

STATE POLICE HAVE CHARGED AN ALBANY

MAN WITH FORCIBLE TOUCHING. THEY SAY,

THE INCIDENT HAPPENED FEBRUARY 25TH

IN THE TOWN OF KINDERHOOK. NATHANIEL

HANLON WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS

FOR COURT.

A MAN WAS TAKEN TO COLUMBIA MEMORIAL,

AFTER TWO VEHICLES COLLIDED TUESDAY

MORNING IN LEEDS. THE CRASH WAS JUST

AFTER 8 ON ROUTE 23 AT FIVE MILE WOODS

ROAD.

OTHER ACCIDENTS THAT BROUGHT AN EMERGENCY

RESPONSE WERE ON FAIRVIEW AVENUE IN

HUDSON, AND ROUTE 9 IN LIVINGSTON.
