FOR EVERYONE IN COLUMBIA AND

GREENE COUNTIES.

TRIAL DATES HAVE BEEN SET IN TWO

COLUMBIA COUNTY CASES. 22 YEAR OLD

NAJAHLIEK EDMUNDS IS ACCUSED OF

HOLDING A WOMAN AGAINST HER WILL

WITH A LARGE KITCHEN KNIFE IN HUDSON,

AND 31 YEAR OLD KEVIN HABERLAND

WAS CHARGED AFTER A VIOLENT

DOMESTIC INCIDENT IN STUYVESANT

FALLS. BOTH WERE ARRAIGNED ON THE

CHARGES YESTERDAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY

COURT.

AN INCIDENT IN GHENT ENDED WITH A

TOWN MAN IN THE COLUMBIA COUNTY

JAIL. 56 YEAR OLD EMIL MELTZ WAS

CHARGED WITH FELONY CRIMINAL

MISCHIEF AND HARASSMENT. BAIL WAS

SET AT 5000 DOLLARS.

AN ALTERCATION ON NEW STREET IN

CATSKILL HAS A VILLAGE MAN

CHARGED WITH ASSAULT. CATSKILL

POLICE SAY 35 YEAR OLD ROBERT

HATKER WAS RELEASED, PENDING

A COURT APPEARANCE.

SEVERAL COLUMBIA COUNTY FIRE

COMPANIES WERE CALLED TO A REPORTED

STRUCTURE FIRE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

IN NIVERVILLE. THE CALL CAME IN

JUST BEFORE 3:30 AT 454 COUNTY

ROUTE 28B.

EAST JEWETT FIREFIGHTERS WERE

ALSO CALLED TO A STRUCTURE FIRE

TUESDAY MORNING. IT WAS REPORTED

JUST BEFORE 9 AT 192 SILVER

SPRING ROAD.

IT WAS A STOVE FIRE THAT BROUGHT

HUDSON FIREMEN TO 555 WARREN STREET

LAST NIGHT. QUICK WORK BY

FIREFIGHTERS, KEPT THE FIRE CONTAINED

TO THE OVEN. THE BLOCK WAS CLOSED

TO TRAFFIC.
