ONE PERSON IS BEING TREATED AT

THE WESTCHESTER BURN UNIT, AFTER

A KITCHEN FIRE SATURDAY AFTERNOON

IN RED HOOK. THE FIRE BROKE OUT

AFTER 12:30 AT RED HOOK COMMONS,

A SENIOR HOUSING FACILITY. THE

CAUSE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION,

THE RED CROSS IS ASSISTING TWO

RESIDENTS.

A WEST COXSACKIE MAN IS FACING

FELONY DRUG CHARGES, AFTER A TRAFFIC

STOP ON ROUTE 81. 41 YEAR OLD DAVID

LAUX WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

BY STATE POLICE. THEY SAY, HE WAS

IN POSSESSION OF COCAINE AND

MARIJUANA.

A TRAFFIC STOP IN CATSKILL ENDED

WITH A RED HOOK WOMAN BEING HELD

BY POLICE. 42 YEAR OLD CINDY HERMAN

WAS CHARGED WITH OBSTRUCTION,

RESISTING ARREST, OPERATOR IMPAIRED

BY DRUGS, AND SEVERAL VEHICLE AND

TRAFFIC CHARGES.

A TEEN WAS ARRESTED, AFTER AN

INCIDENT AT THE BERKSHIRE FARMS

GROUP HOME IN VALATIE. THE 17 YEAR

OLD WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH

ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. SHE

WAS GIVEN APPEARANCE TICKETS FOR COURT.

A WESTERLO MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE ALBANY

COUNTY JAIL, AFTER SEVEN POUNDS OF

MARIJUANA WAS FOUND AT HIS HOME.

POLICE SAY, 23 YEAR OLD KERRY BENDEL

WAS ADVERTISING ON FACEBOOK THAT HE HAD

POT FOR SALE.

THE DRIVER OF A CAR HAD ONLY MINOR

INJURIES, AFTER COLLIDING WITH A

POLE OVER THE WEEKEND IN GHENT.

THE ACCIDENT WAS ON COUNTY ROUTE 21.

OTHER ACCIDENTS THAT BROUGHT AN

EMERGENCY RESPONSE, WITH ON COUNTY

ROUTE 28 IN CHATHAM AND MAIN STREET

IN HUNTER.

PALENVILLE FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED

TO A VEHICLE FIRE SUNDAY AFTERNOON

AT A RESIDENCE ON ROUTE 23A. THE

CALLER WAS CONCERNED, THAT IT WAS

VERY CLOSE TO A BUILDING.
