TWO HUDSON RESIDENTS WERE ARRAIGNED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES TUESDAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT, FOLLOWING THEIR INDICTMENT BY A GRAND JURY. MICHAEL ELIE AND PAULA LORD ARE ACCUSED OF BEING IN POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE WITH THE INTENT TO SELL. THE ARREST WAS MADE BY HUDSON POLICE.


STILL NO VERDICT IN THE JEFFREY BARMEN RAPE TRIAL. JURORS ASKED FOR A READ-BACK OF SOME TESTIMONY YESTERDAY. THEY WILL CONTINUE DELIBERATING TODAY IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT.


ALSO IN COLUMBIA COUNTY COURT, 23 YEAR OLD TYLER ROSSI OF CLAVERACK PLEAD GUILTY TO TO CRIMINAL CONTEMPT, FOR VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION IN OCTOBER, DURING A DOMESTIC INCIDENT. HE'LL BE SENTENCED IN JANUARY.


THREE FIRE COMPANIES WERE ON THE SCENE OF A BASEMENT FIRE TUESDAY MORNING IN CATSKILL. THE CALL CAME IN JUST AFTER 10:30 AT 393 MAIN STREET. THE FIRE WAS KNOCKED DOWN WITHIN A HALF HOUR. WE'VE RECEIVED NO REPORTS OF INJURIES.THE CAUSE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.


CREWS WERE ALSO CALLED TO A REPORTED STRUCTURE FIRE YESTERDAY MORNING IN EAST DURHAM. IT WAS REPORTED JUST BEFORE 8:30 AT 2373 ROUTE 145.


A LEXINGTON MAN FACES CHARGES, AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY HUNG UP ON GREENE COUNTY 9 1 1 . 51 YEAR OLD JOSEPH FOWLER WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH OBSTRUCTION AND HARASSMENT, AND WAS HELD ON 1000 DOLLARS BAIL.


A CATSKILL MAN WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH CRIMINAL CONTEMPT, FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION. 20 YEAR OLD PATRICK MAURER HAS A SCHEDULED COURT APPEARANCE.
