A TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER FROM POUGHKEEPSIE WAS AIRLIFTED TO ALBANY MED FRIDAY AFTERNOON, AFTER HIS TRUCK ROLLED OVER ON ROUTE 82 IN ANCRAM. THE CRASH WAS JUST BEFORE 3. THE TRUCK WAS HAULING MILK. THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS THE ENTIRE LOAD SPILLED.

OTHER ACCIDENTS FRIDAY KEPT FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS BUSY ACROSS COLUMBIA AND GREENE COUNTIES. 

A FEMALE MOTORCYCLE OPERATOR WAS TAKEN TO COLUMBIA MEMORIAL, AFTER CRASHING ON ROUTE 9 IN LIVINGSTON. AND A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS INJURED AFTER ROLLING HER CAR OVER ON IRVING ROAD IN GREENVILLE.

OTHER ACCIDENTS WERE ON ROUTE 23 IN WINDHAM, BORTUGNO LANE IN KINDERHOOK,AND ROUTE 67 IN FREEHOLD.


AN ELIZAVILLE MAN FACES DRUG CHARGES AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP ON ROUTE 82 IN GALLATIN. 35 YEAR OLD JASON GRAZIOSI WAS CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. POLICE SAY, HE WAS IN POSSESSION OF HEROIN, CRACK COCAINE,AND SUBOXONE.


A PALENVILLE MAN WAS SENT TO THE GREENE COUNTY JAIL, AFTER AN INCIDENT IN CATSKILL. VILLAGE POLICE CHARGED 30 YEAR OLD MICHAEL PERNICE WITH CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. HE WAS HELD ON 250 DOLLARS BAIL.


TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY FOR THE HUDSON PRICE CHOPPER. STORE OFFICIALS TOLD THEIR EMPLOYEES THAT THEY WERE CLOSING IN SEPTEMBER. ONCE THE STORE IS EMPTY, IT WILL BE RENOVATED INTO A SHOP-RITE.
