THE SUBJECT OF WHAT TO DO WITH THE GREENE COUNTY JAIL, WAS THE TOPIC LAST NIGHT AT THE GREENE COUNTY LEGISLATURE. REPRESENTATIVES FROM KAATERSKILL ASSOCIATES SAY IT WOULD COST BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO REPAIR STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS AT CURRENT FACILITY. THE PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE ENDED UP,VOTING IN FAVOR OF EXPLORING A 50 MILLION DOLLAR BOND, TO PAY FOR A NEW FACILITY. THE ENTIRE LEGISLATURE WILL VOTE MAY 16TH.


SOME SERIOUS CHARGES FOR A CATSKILL TEEN.THE 13 YEAR OLD WAS CHARGED BY VILLAGE POLICE WITH CRIMINAL SEX ACT AND DISSEMINATING INDECENT MATERIAL TO A MINOR. POLICE SAY, THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED APRIL 23RD. THE TEEN WILL ANSWER THE CHARGES IN FAMILY COURT.


A HANNACROIX MAN IS ACCUSED OF USING A FORMER EMPLOYER'S CREDIT CARD, TO RACK UP OVER 12,000 DOLLARS IN PERSONAL PURCHASES. STATE POLICE CHARGED 42 YEAR OLD KENNETH WICKKISER WITH FELONY GRAND LARCENY. HE WAS HELD ON 50,000 DOLLARS BAIL.


AN INCIDENT ON ROUTE 32 IN CATSKILL HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A KISKATOM MAN. 66 YEAR OLD RICHARD MEISTER WAS CHARGED BY STATE POLICE WITH CRIMINAL CONTEMPT AND CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON. 


AN ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 81 IN DURHAM HAS LEAD TO THE ARREST OF A GREENVILLE MAN ON FELONY DWI CHARGES. STATE POLICE SAY, 40 YEAR OLD BRAD INGRAHAM IS A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER, WHO WAS OFF-DUTY. HE HAD TWO MINORS IN THE CAR AT THE TIME. 


FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS WERE ON THE SCENE OF TWO ACCIDENTS LAST NIGHT IN GREENE COUNTY. THE FIRST WAS JUST AFTER 6 ON ROUTE 385 IN COXSACKIE. THE SECOND WAS IN LEEDS, AT THE ROUTE 23 AND 23B INTERSECTION.


LIVINGSTON FIREMEN WERE CALLED TO COUNTY ROUTE 31 WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, AFTER A TRUCK BROUGHT DOWN A UTILITY POLE AND WIRES. THE ACCIDENT WAS AT EGER ROAD. FIREMEN WERE THERE FOR OVER FOUR HOURS.
