Governor Hochul and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have announced the completion of Plug Power's new manufacturing facility in Albany County.
It is located at the Vista Technology Campus in Slingerlands and will help support the company's efforts to expand its line of GenDrive fuel cell systems. Those systems are used for powering electric motors in the electric mobility market. Plug Power has already pledged to create more than 16-hundred jobs at the facility which will provide a boost to the area's economy.
